Serpentine seeds, the name of Chinese medicine. It is the fruit of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss of the genus Cnidium, family Umbelliferae. It has the effects of warming the kidney and strengthening the yang, drying dampness and killing worms, dispelling wind and relieving itch.
