Sapotaceae, also known as wild carrot seeds, snake rice, snake chestnuts, is an herb of the Umbelliferae family. The taste of snake bed seeds: warm, pungent, bitter, with a small poison. It contains chemical constituents such as pinene, isovaleric acid lobsterol, parsleyol methyl ether, dihydroparsleyol, bergamot lactone, serpentine, isoanisatin and so on. It has long been used in the treatment of eczema and other skin diseases, which is related to the inhibition of the fungus and molds by the extract of C. serpentina.
