Product Name: Astragalus root slice
This product is the dried root of Astragalus mongolica, legume family. Harvested in spring and autumn, the fibrous roots and root heads are removed and dried in the sun. Functions: tonifying Qi and fixing the surface of the body, supporting toxicity and draining pus, diuresis, and muscle production. Used for deficiency of Qi, prolonged diarrhea and prolapse, spontaneous sweating, edema, uterine prolapse, chronic nephritis proteinuria, diabetes, sores do not heal.
This product is a thick piece of similar round or oval, the outer epidermis yellowish white to light brown, visible longitudinal wrinkles or longitudinal grooves. The cut surface is yellowish white, the wood part is light yellow, with radial texture and fissures, some of the center is occasionally decayed, dark brown or hollow. Smell slightly, taste slightly sweet, chewing with bean smell.
Moisture: Not more than 10.0% (General rule 0832, second method).
The total ash content shall not exceed 5.0% (General rule 2302).

Heavy metals and harmful elements according to the lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, copper determination method (General 2321 atomic absorption spectrophotometry or inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry) determination, lead shall not exceed 5mg/kg; cadmium shall not exceed 1mg/kg; arsenic shall not exceed 2mg/kg; mercury shall not exceed 0.2mg/kg; copper shall not exceed 20mg/kg.
