How to drink the herb tea?

Herbal tea is usually brewed with covered glasses, porcelain cups, or porcelain pots for 2-5 minutes, to release the unique aroma of active ingredients and flowers before drinking. But it is not suitable to drink with purple sand pots. Herbal tea is a kind of non-fermented tea, and it is mainly made of young, unpolluted buds and petals. When brewing, the water temperature should not be too high, and the water temperature should be 80-90 °C. Brewing herbal tea is also not suitable for using a thermos cup, because the multivitamin and aromatic substances contained in herbal tea will be quickly destroyed and reduced under high temperature and constant temperature conditions, and the resulting herbal tea will become darker in color and astringent in taste. In addition, in the process of brewing, pots and cups should be sealed to minimize the loss of aroma. Herbal tea is suitable for drinking, don’t add milk, no or less sugar, can add a small amount of honey to maintain the natural flavor.

Step 1: Boil Some Water

To boil the water so that it’s so hot that it quickly and easily infuses into the herbs and works to pull out the properties of the herbs… as well as the vitamins and minerals too!

Step 2: Place Herbs In Tea Strainer

You can purchase premade herbal tea bags or you can buy seal-able tea bags and make your own using loose leaf teas. There are a lot of options. Anyway, put about a teaspoon of the herb into your strainer or your teabag if you’re making your own, and place it in your teacup.

Step 3 : Pour Hot Water

Super simple. Pour your just-boiled water into your cup so that your herbs are submerged in the hot water.

Step 4: Steep Your Tea

Cover your teacup with another bowl or plate so that the steam doesn’t escape. Steep times will vary depending upon what herb you’re using and how hard (or tough) it is. For most tea leaves and flowers, 10 minutes of steeping is perfect. If you’re using a harder herb like barks or berries, give it about 20 minutes to steep. If you’re using roots, you’ll need to let that steep for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5: Clean Your Tea

Let your tea put into the hot water about 2 minutes to remove the dust ,Chinese means "xicha",then enjoy your tea.

Step 6: Sweeten Your Tea

This is it… the last step. Sweeten your tea if you’d like with whatever sweetener you prefer. I love using honey. It just goes with tea, but you can use whatever sweetener you favor. Just a little is needed. there’s nothing worse than super-sweet herbal tea. Of course ,if you put the Goji berry and Chrysanthemum or others will be better.

In fact, after you get used to drinking tea regularly, many times you’ll find that you don’t even need a sweetener in your tea. You can even use herbal honey if you have some of that made which will give your tea a double whammy!
